Responsibilities

The successful candidate will have a technical operations or manufacturing engineering background to support the following objectives:? Supplier Capacity and Capability Analysis ? Analysis and Resolution of Supplier Manufacturing Capability and Throughput Constraint Issues? Root Cause and Corrective Action Methodology? Onsite Support remotely at Chronic Suppliers for extended periods of time to Manage Schedule and Delivery Priorities, Production Planning, and WIP Management? Business Acumen - P&L understanding? ERP Management and set up? Manufacturing Capability, Scheduling, and OEE Improvements in Supply Base to Support Spirit Requirements? Assess the Capability of New Suppliers to Industrialize a Spirit Statement of Work

Qualifications

Required Skills? Minimum 5 years manufacturing operations and/or manufacturing leadership experience.? A thorough understanding of ERP Systems (SAP), Contracts, Logistics, Planning and QA systems issues.? The ability to program manage at a Senior Level and assess supplier sites and systems capacity/capability issues.? A proven track record of driving resolution of schedule and technical manufacturing process capability issues.? The ability to engage with the Spirit supply base individually and within a team to ensure effective measurement and gauging practices and providing manufacturing feasibility input on component designs.

Preferred Skills? Industrial Engineering background and or MBA? A 4 year degree in Industrial, Manufacturing or Process Engineering. MBA highly preferred.? Understanding of ERP functionality, machine loading, scheduling and demand management? Lean Solutions Management? Continuous improvement experience, Lean, Six Sigma Blackbelt preferred.? Understanding of process management, PPAP, APQP? CMFGE, CPIM or PMP certifications preferred.? Ability to read and understand engineering drawings/blueprints and utilize Catia
